Our History

Team Taylor County

The Campbellsville-Taylor County Economic Development Authority (CTCEDA) was established in 1998 through a joint venture of the city and county governments. It is the lead economic and community development organization for Campbellsville and Taylor County, Kentucky. The primary goal of the CTCEDA is to attract and grow new employers as well as to market the Heartland Commerce and Technology Park.

The CTCEDA is committed to facilitating economic growth by retaining and expanding our workforce through new business recruitment, existing business retention and expansion, entrepreneurship and workforce development. It is a non-profit organization governed by a six-member Board of Directors appointed by city and county governments.

Team Taylor County is a collaborative community alliance of the CTCEDA, Campbellsville-Taylor County Chamber of Commerce, Taylor County Tourist Commission, Campbellsville-Taylor County Industrial Foundation Inc., Greater Campbellsville United, Community Ventures Corporation, Campbellsville Main Street, Campbellsville University, local school systems, local businesses and city and county governments.

CTCEDA is also a partner with Kentucky Crossroads Regional Economic Development Coalition, a eleven-county collaborative, regional marketing effort.
